Howdy! We’re Sarah and Nicole,

Brooklynites who met at Williamsburg Athletic Club - somewhere between the ski erg and a post-workout coffee. We quickly became friends upon realizing our shared love for creativity, movement, and our Greek heritage. And while we grew up on opposite sides of the world - Brisbane and Baltimore - our families live just a few hours apart in the Peloponnese of Greece. 

In 2023, while both training for the New York City Marathon, we were frustrated with no fun performance running socks that matched our personality. We took our training seriously…but also believe running should still feel fun and expressive. So we decided to create our own.

Performance-minded, thoughtfully designed, and full of personality.

Williams Green is female-founded, runner-built, and community-led. It’s our way of bringing a little joy and style back into running - one pair of socks at a time.
